Gene Biscamp

Born: December 01, 1936
Died: June 23, 2013

Gene Biscamp , 76, of Kirbyville died Sunday, June 23, 2013, at his home.

He praised his Lord with each trial he has gone through. His whistling, singing & sweet disposition has helped us with each day. Having never met a stranger, he was good at bringing laughter to all he met. We want to cherish all the good memories with his journey to Jesus.

Gene was a 1956 graduate of Kirbyville. He enjoyed all the reunions he attended. He was stationed in Germany & many other places while in the army for 4 years. He retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone after 40 years of service.

He will be waiting for those he left behind when Jesus returns to call us home. His wife and soul mate, Judy Blanchard Biscamp; his brother Dean & Donna Biscamp; sisters, Betsy Satterwhite & Ginger & Sidney Bertrand; his sister-in-law, Adell Biscamp; his son, Mark & Robin Biscamp; daughter, Nicol & Robert Roeder; stepdaughters, Codi Hancock, Kerri Oliver & Loni & Ricky Herrington; 10 grandchildren who he cherished & numerous nieces and nephews.

Gene’s love for North Bon Ami church family was a light that shined for him and each family was special. Elzy Kelley & Gene were like brothers. Elzy’s love & prayers got Gene through many days.

A special thank you to Dr. Kadali & his sweet & wonderful staff at Texas Oncology. Also Jessica and Judy from Intergrity Home Care; also Celina and Wanda with River City Hospice. His special classmates Clyde & Pat Kirbow for all the meals, trying to get Gene to eat.

Those who have gone before Gene are Gene’s first wife, Sherleen; daughter, Connie; parents Eunice & Lewis Biscamp; and brother, Dale Biscamp.

Private memorial services will be Sunday, June 30, at North Bon Ami Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, you may give to a charity of your choice.
