Dorothy T. Bowe, 77, of 1315 Dover St., Chippewa Falls, died unexpectedly Saturday, February 16, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Chippewa Falls.

She was born December 20, 1935 in Chippewa Falls, the daughter of Raymond and Frances (Loschko) Lanners.

On May 5, 1956, she married Roger H. Bowe at St. Charles Church.

She worked for the Middle School lunch program and Mason Shoe Company. She was a member of the Chippewa Falls Senior Center, Red Hat Society, Moose Lodge Auxiliary #770 and St. Charles Church.

She enjoyed watching the Packers, painting, WII bowling at the senior center, movie nights with her girls and enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.

Dorothy is survived by three daughters, Roxie Sahm (fiancé, Pat McConville), Donna (Dave) Sullivan both of Chippewa Falls and Doris (James) Eystad of Plainfield, Indiana; two brothers, Gerald (Monica) Lanners of Chippewa Falls and her twin brother, Donald (Delores) Lanners of Rochester, Minn.; and 6 grandchildren, Laurie, Cindy and Krista Sahm, Hannah Eystad, Zach Sullivan and Nate Eystad.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger H. Bowe; one son, Randall Bowe on January 17, 2013; and her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 20 at St. Charles Church in Chippewa Falls. Entombment will be in Hope Mausoleum in Chippewa Falls.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, February 19 and until 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Horan Funeral Home in Chippewa Falls. The Ladies of St. Charles will recite the rosary at 4 p.m. and there will be a Christian Vigil Service at 4:30 p.m. and the Ladies of the Moose Auxiliary will conduct a Moose ritual at 6 p.m. all on Tuesday at the funeral home.
