U.S. VeteranLarry A. Falco Sr., 86, of Anson St. Derby, entered eternal rest on Saturday January 12 at Yale New Haven Hospital with his devoted Son at his side.  Mr. Falco was the beloved husband of the late Connie Amato Falco.  Larry was born in Brooklyn NY on October 12, 1926, son of the late Frank and Carmella Delledonne Falco.  He was a proud Army Veteran of the Korean War, serving for five years on active combat duty.  He was awarded the Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal and one Bronze Service Star.  He was a member of the Soldiers, Sailors and Marines Veterans Benefit Organization. Mr. Falco worked in manufacturing and retired from the Bradley Coat Factory.   Larry enjoyed some of the simple pleasures in life including a fine brandy, a fresh pack of cigarettes, ice cream and the joy of watching his favorite sports team, The Mets. He enjoyed trying his luck playing the Daily Numbers.
He is survived by his devoted Son, Lawrence Falco, Jr. and his fiancee Linda Sales of Fairfield; grandchildren Nicole Falco of Norwalk, Lauren and Christopher Falco, both of Shelton. In addition to his beloved wife, Connie, he was predeceased by his brothers: Joseph, Tony, Johnny, Frank, Carmine, and Eddy; and his sisters Lucy Scotti and Grace Caliendo.  A Memorial Service in honor of Mr. Falco’s life will be held on Sunday, January 20th from 1:00-4:00pm at the Anthony V.
