Thomas James Fleming passed away Friday, December 21, 2012 in Carmichael at the age of 99. He was born in San Diego, CA on June 20, 1913 to Thomas and Ethel (Nelson) Fleming. Bachelor of Science in Forestry from the University of Washington, and lover of nature, he has been an avid photographer all his life. He retired as a Lt. Col. from the US Army, service in WWII and Korea. Now reunited with wife Margaret, who crossed over on January 14th. He fathered two daughters, Dorothy and Margaret, and has five grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He has been an exemplary guide and example to all with whom he came in contact. Until we meet again. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service Thursday, January 3 at 11:00 A.M. at Daneri Mortuary Chapel in Jackson.
