Dorothy A. (Bevilacqua) Bellucci, 91, formerly of 90 John St., died Sunday, December 9, 2012 in Oakdale Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, West Boylston, after an illness, surrounded by her loving family. Her husband of 63 years, Harvey J. Bellucci, died in 2010.
She is survived by a son, Paul Bellucci and his wife, Jeanne of Spring Hill, TN; three daughters: Carol Grady and her husband, Michael, and Rita Crowley and her husband, Toby, all of Clinton, and Lorna Keane and her husband, Brian of Boylston; two sisters: Natalie Silvio and Jean Farragher, both of Clinton; twelve grandchildren: Joseph, James & Jonathan Bellucci; Megan Filetti, Moira Poole, Micaela Grady, PJ & Mallory Chamberlain, Max Crowley, and Ellen, Matthew & Katherine Keane; four great-grandchildren: Abigail, Amelia, Archer & Autumn Bellucci; many nieces and nephews. Two brothers, Peter & Raymond Bevilacqua and six sisters, Frances Panni, Chelsea Ambrosi, Manchina Regonni, Josephine O’Connor, Pauline McLaughlin & Nellie Barbaresi, pre-deceased her.
Born and raised in Clinton, daughter of Natale and Enrica (Barbaresi) Bevilacqua, she attended local schools, and was a life-long resident.
For more than 30 years until its closing, Dorothy worked as a book binder at the former Colonial Press of Clinton. She then worked for many years at Res-Tech of Clinton, before retiring from the Clinton Middle School Cafeteria after ten years of service.
A life-member of St. John the Evangelist Church, Dorothy was dedicated to her family - she loved spending time with her sisters, children and grandchildren. She greatly enjoyed baking and sharing recipes; often gifting her delicious Italian Christmas Cookies and other sweets to family and friends.
Dorothy’s funeral will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2012 from the McNally & Watson Funeral Home, 304 Church St., with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist Church, 80 Union St. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Lancaster. Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Clinton Hospital Foundation, 201 Highland St., Clinton, MA 01510, or to the Oakdale Nursing Center Resident Care Fund, 76 North Main St., West Boylston, MA 01583.
