Dolores G. Bohr, age 90 years, of Marion passed away Thursday, December 6, 2012 at KindredHearts of Shawano.

Dolores was born on August 22, 1922 in Marion to William and Emma (Braun) Goodstorf.  She graduated from Marion High School in 1940.  During WWII she worked as a laborer at FWD Corporation in Clintonville for some time.  Dolores was united in marriage on May 6, 1946 to Darrell D. Frost in Marion.  She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Marion, where she taught Sunday school.  Shortly after her husband, Darrell, died in 1963 she returned to work at Seagrave Fire Apparatus as a secretary, retiring in 1987.  On January 9, 1971 she was married to Arthur A. Bohr in Marion and he preceded her in death in 2007.  Dolores is a former member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Marion.  She always had beautiful flower gardens, liked bird watching, was an avid walker, and enjoyed riding her bike around town.  Her favorite pastime was reading, especially at the Marion Library.

Survivors include seven daughters; Laura Frost of Wausau, Julie (Bob) Torborg of Shawano, Jane (Mike) Marciniak of Wausau, Peggy (Randy) Baldwin of Madison, Monica (Dennis) Degeneffe of St. Paul, MN., Mary (Jerry) Mehlberg of Valdez, AK., and Teresa (Rusty) Schider of Pardeeville.  There are numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  There is a sister, Beth Meisner of Marion, a son-in-law, James Jueds of Marion, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Dolores is preceded in death by her husbands, Darrell Frost and Arthur Bohr, a special daughter, Connie Jueds, a son-in-law, Bruce Bossell, a brother, Lloyd (Vera) Goodstorf, and four sisters, Louella (Wilson) Howgee, Gladys (Fred) Bishop, Ervie (Cy) Roos, and Alice (Rueben) Nelson.

The family wishes to thank all the nurses and staff at KindredHearts and ThedaCare Hospice who adored her and treated her with love & dignity.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 12th at 1:00 PM at the Beil-Didier Funeral Home, Clintonville.  Fr. David Barrett will officiate and inurnment will be at Greenleaf Cemetery, Marion.  Friends may call on Wednesday from 11:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Marion Public Library or take the time to read a story to a child.
