Edna Dorothy Heller

Born: May 18, 1921
Died: October 14, 2012

Edna Heller (91) of Malvern entered into eternal rest on October 14,
2012 at Paoli Hospital surrounded by her family. She had been a
resident of Chester Valley Rehabilitation for 6 years. The daughter of
the late Philip and Edna Shwamb she was the wife of the late John P.
Heller.
After losing her husband in 1956, she earned her living by making
custom-made slipcovers and was known all over the main line for her
prowess enabling her to raise three children on her own.
Covenant Presbyterian Church, Malvern Fire Company, and her beloved
Phillies were her life. At Covenant she was Sunday school teacher,
Sunday School Superintendent, for years head of the Vacation Bible
School, member of Presbyterian Women and a Ruling Elder. She was a
member of the church for 68 years. At Malvern Fire Co. she was a long-
time member of the Ladies Auxiliary and also the Auxiliary Chaplain.
She is survived by children Patricia (Carl) Lotz, Robert (Peggie)
Heller and Susan Campbell; grandson John (Laura) Lotz, great-grandsons
JD and Andrew; grandson Robert (Suzette) Lotz, great-grandsons Quintin
and Dalton; and grandson Jonathan Campbell; Sister Marian West and
nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased in addition to her husband
and parents, by her sister Doris (in childhood) and by granddaughter
Heather Campbell.
You are invited to a time of visitation from 9:30 to 11:00 am
followed by funeral service at 11 am Tuesday, Oct. 23 at Covenant
Presbyterian Church, 400 Lancaster Avenue, Frazer, PA.
