In the mid 1960's, Albert was a palace guard at the Malacanang Palace and worked part time at the National Shipping Yard for a year while he supported his wife and children. After passing his board exam for Electrical Engineering, supported by his sister, Albert moved to America to find a better life for his whole family. During 1970, Albert found a job at Bechtel in Vernon, CA. Albert's wife and 6 children came to America a year later, where then Albert and his family moved to Los Angeles. By 1973, Albert bought his family a home in Norwalk, CA, where he and his wife raised 7 children. From here Albert transferred to Bechtel in Norwalk for several years until he finally spent the rest of his working years at Edison until 1996. During his retirement, Albert spent every year visiting the Philippines with his wife, especially his hometown of Botolan, Zambales. After many years of travelling, Albert spent the rest of his days with his wife where he finally passed this year on July 21, 2012.
