Thomas H. Alexander, 75, passed away April 16th 2012 with his devoted family by his side. He was born in Methuen, Massachusetts to James and Theresa Alexander. He entered the USAF in 1958 and served three years, then worked as a Correction Officer at MCI in Concord for twelve years.
He married the love of his life, Donna, and raised his family in his home town of Concord until 1976. Hoping for better opportunities, Tom then moved his family to Santa Barbara, California to partner with his older brother Ben, of Ben Alexander Drywall. In 1981, the family moved to Lompoc and settled in their first home.
Tom was a sports enthusiast and avid golfer. Everyone that knew Tom loved him for his friendly, caring nature and knew they could always count on him for anything. He loved talking sports and always had a colorful story of a past experience of his own in the field of athletics. He exuded strength, wisdom, integrity and honesty. Above all else, he was a dedicated family man and found unending joy spending time with his grandchildren.
Tom is survived by his wife of 50 years Donna, children Lynne Hargett (Ron), Stephanie Gardner, Thomas H. Alexander Jr., and Sandra Rottmann (Glenn), grandchildren Ryan and Nolan Gardner, Beau and Matthew Manning and Olivia Rottmann.
A Celebration Of Life will be held for Tom on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at 3pm at the La Purisima Golf Course, 3455 State Highway 246. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a charity of your choice. Arrangements are in care of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary. www.starbucklind.com
