In 1971 she married Bruce Olmstead and resided in Arizona for a short time before moving back to Jackson. Linda enjoyed being a stay at home Mom, while also caring for many of her friends’ children after school. Linda started working for the Amador County Unified School District as an Instructional Aide soon after her youngest daughter started kindergarten. She also had many hobbies including gardening, sewing and quilting, snowmobiling, fishing, camping and traveling. Above all, what Linda enjoyed most was being a Grandma (Nonnie)!
