Henry "Charlie" Aubert, 63, of Fiddletown, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2011, at his residence. Charlie was born in Detroit, MI on January 24, 1948, a son of the late June (Lawler) and Henry Clovis Aubert.
Charlie is survived by his adoring wife of 27 years, Candice of Fiddletown; three sons, Charles Shalom, and his wife, Courtney Aubert, of CA; Jon Paul, and his wife, Kristina Aubert, of Phoenix, AZ; William Henry Aubert, of Fiddletown; a step daughter, Kelly Anne, and her husband, Brad Bredek, of Granite Bay; a step son, Jacob Clement, and his wife, Nicola Shields, of Natomas; grandchildren, Mason, Jocelyn, Dreyden, and Eathan. Charlie moved to California and used his joy of building things to begin a career as a carpenter that would last for 35 years. Charlie enjoyed visiting Cables Lake especially in the winter when the lake is iced over; it made him reminiscent of his years playing ice hockey. He enjoyed watching all professional sports teams from Detroit, Red Wings, Lions and Pistons. He was a man of few words, successful at everything he did, and a very loving husband and father. At the family’s request there were no services. Inurnment was in the Sacramento Valley VA National Cemetery in Dixon, CA.
