Muriel: Micheal and I were stunned to say the least when he got an e-mail from some Textron friends of Ted's passing. Michael was in town on Sept 10th and called Ted 3 times. If only we had known. Please know that we both loved Ted and he will be missed dearly and Michael will be without a wonderful friend. our love to you and the family, Jeri Chinnock

When I joined the Flyers in 1989 it was Ted that made me feel welcome. When ever we had a guest or new member it was always Ted that went out of his way to make them feel welcome. When we had a breakfast, party, or other event you always knew our friend Ted would be there for the setup and the event. Ted was the Flyers Sunshine Chairman for many years, but he did so much more, he was our Goodwill ambassador, he was never given the job, but he filled the job to a very hi level.
Our friend Ted was a cart driver, our Unit President (in 1988), he was a man who would do anything for the Flyers and the Shrine. He will be missed by all.

To all of Ted's family: My sincere sympathies on the loss of such a wonderful man. I knew him as a customer and a friend for some twenty plus years. He always had a great smile and a warm hug for me. I will sincerely miss his smiles.

I am the lone surviving member of the Emil Ankerfelt family. Of course I have 3 children, 5 grandchildren and 4 greats. I have many memories of the Edwin Ankerfelt family - only wish we had more time together - however, miles prevented that. My sympathy Muriel - and to your family. My husband died nearly 16 years ago.

We are so sad to learn of Ted's passing. Things just aren't the same without Ted outside in one of his bright colored t-shirts. He brought a lot of joy to this world!

You are all in our thoughts.

Love from next door,
Justin, Angela & Caden Bidler
