Peters Funeral Home was established in St. Paul, Nebraska in 1991. The former Nesiba's Cafe was purchased and completely remodeled. It opened for business in November of that year. Todd and Cindy operated the funeral home and Cindy's father, Leonard Mostek, assisted on funerals.
In 1993, numerous citizens of Loup City, Nebraska, approached Todd and Cindy about opening a branch chapel in their community. With Cindy's family ties in Sherman County, it seemed like a good fit and so they remodeled the former "Helen's Dress Shop" and began operations in May.
Carl Krolikowski later joined the staff as a visitation and funeral assistant, as did Todd's father, Butch Peters, several years ago.
Peters Funeral Home prides itself in offering dignified and caring funeral service to both communities, as well as, the surrounding areas of central Nebraska.
