These prices are effective as of January 1, 2012 and are subject to change without notice. The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the goods and services you selected.
Basic Services of the Funeral Director and Staff	$1,450.00
Our professional service charges includes, but is not limited to, funeral counseling and arranging with availability on a 24 hour basis. Sheltering of remains, daily supervision and management of all statistics, securing and completing necessary certificates and permits, submitting necessary death notices and obituary information to newspapers, completing arrangements with clergy, cemetery or crematory, and all details related to the arrangement of a funeral, cremation and/or memorial service. Included in this charge are overhead expenses relative to our facility such as insurance, maintenance and utility expenses, secretarial and administrative costs, and equipment and inventory expenses. This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials and forwarding or receiving remains).
Embalming	$525.00
Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial.

Direct Cremation
Direct Cremation	$1,485.00
Our charge for direct cremation includes: local removal; shelter of remains for 24 hours as required by law; local transportation to crematory; securing and filing necessary papers and authorizations; and a plastic container for cremains. This package does not include any private or public viewing, attendant rites or ceremonies. The crematory requires a container for handling the remains. This alternative container encases the body and can be made of materials like heavy cardboard or composition materials or pouches of canvas. The containers we provide are made of heavy cardboard and/or composition materials at an additional cost of $90.00. Crematory charges are additional.
Immediate Burial
Immediate Burial	$1,485.00
Our charge for immediate burial without any private or public viewings, ceremonies or rites includes: local removal and shelter of remains; sanitary care; local transportation to cemetery; necessary services of staff; securing and filing necessary papers and authorizations. The price of the casket/container selected is additional.
Forwarding of Remains to another Funeral Home	$2,075.00
This charge includes removal of remains, services of staff, embalming, receptacle for the body, necessary authorizations, transportation to Newark Airport. It does not include the use of facilities for any visitation and/or rites or ceremonies prior to forwarding of the body. The charge for additional miles is $1.50 per mile traveled.
Receiving of Remains from another Funeral Home	$1,350.00
This charge includes temporary shelter of the remains, transportation of remains to local cemetery, and required services of staff. It does not include the use of facilities for viewing or for funeral services. Transportation to/from Newark airport included.
