The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the goods and services you selected.

Basic Services of the Funeral Director and Staff

Our professional service charge includes but is not limited to: Personnel available 24 hrs. a day, 365 days a year to respond to initial call, arrangement conference, shelter of remains, coordinating service plans with cemetery and/ or other parties involved in the final disposition of the deceased. Also included in this charge are overhead expenses relative to our facility such as insurance, maintenance, utility expenses, administrative costs, government compliance and equipment and inventory expenses.
This fee also includes Clerical and Staff assistance along with the necessary office equipment to complete various forms and activities such as securing, filing and recording the death certificate, social security form(s), military form(s), preparation of memorial folders and obituary notices, contacting newspapers, radio stations, preparing and arranging for musicians and hairdressers.

Embalming

Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement which does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial.

This service includes the usual cosmetology, dressing and casketing of the body or washing, disinfecting and casketing of the remains if no embalming.

This charge includes removal of remains (within 35 mi), necessary authorizations, basic services of staff and transport to crematory. This charge does not include crematory fee, use of facilities and staff for any visitation or ceremony, public or private, prior to cremation. If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of material like fiberboard or composition materials. The container we provide is made of fiberboard.
