These prices are effective as of April 1, 2009 and are subject to change without notice. The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the goods and services you selected.
Basic Services of the Funeral Director and Staff	$1,350.00
This is the basic charge to each family we serve for our professional expertise in assisting them. It includes, but is not limited to, a proportionate share of the taxes, licenses, utilities and business expenses necessary to serve the public in a professional manner. Also included in this charge is the consultation with the family, clerical and administrative services, preparation and filing of necessary permits, consultation with the clergy, cemetery, crematory or common carrier, assistance with insurance papers, planning the funeral or memorial service, and placement of obituary notices. There will be an additional charge for the direction and supervision of each service requested or required. This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials and forwarding or receiving remains.)
Embalming	$660.00
Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as a direct cremation or immediate burial. Embalming is a chemical process that provides temporary preservation of the body and eliminates health hazards. A person licensed by this state, or an apprentice (registered by the state) supervised by such, must complete this procedure.

(6) Immediate Burial (no family present) Includes transfer of remains within a 35-mile radius, after hours removal fee, up to 48 hours of storage/refrigeration of unembalmed remains, cleansing, disinfecting, dressing and casketing of remains and transportation to a local cemetery at funeral home’s earliest convenience for immediate burial. Includes all necessary staff, facilities, vehicles and equipment. Casket may be provided by purchaser or chosen from our casket price list. A price list will be provided at the funeral home.
(9) Forwarding Remains to another Funeral Home	$2,545.00
Includes transfer of remains within 35-mile radius, after hours removal fees, embalming, refrigeration, autopsy care, organ donation care, restoration/reconstruction care, dressing, casketing, cosmetology and hair stylist, and all necessary staff, facilities, vehicles and equipment, transportation to Bakersfield Airport. (Additional mileage to LAX $295.)
(12) Receiving Remains Followed by Immediate Burial (No family present)	$1,585.00
Includes transfer of remains within 35-mile radius, document preparation, delivery of remains to cemetery at funeral home’s earliest convenience, for immediate burial, and all necessary staff, facilities, vehicles and equipment. (Additional mileage to LAX $295.)
