Joseph F Morris Joseph F Morris
(January 18, 1960 - November 24, 2010)

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that day…” (2 Timothy 4:7 & 8)

Joseph F. Morris, Jr., affectionately known as “Jo Jo”, was born January 18, 1960 in Waterbury Connecticut.

He was the rambunctious son of Minister Joseph F. Morris, Sr. and Mother Alberta Morris of Bensalem, PA. Jo Jo attended Wilby High school; and it was during his high school years that he was baptized, in Jesus’ name, and received the Holy Spirit.

He was herald to the cross; and a musician blessed by God. Jo Jo loved music; he excelled at playing lead guitar; and, was also a choir director. In life strife does come. Jo Jo went through his shore; but thank God, He didn’t allow Joseph to go through too much. Jesus brought him back into the church, and reclaimed him. Shortly thereafter, God saw fit to call Jo Jo home and allowed his sunset to come peacefully on November 24, 2010 at 7:30 p.m.

Besides his parents he leaves to cherish his memory, his sister Joy (Elder Jesse) Carney or Waterbury, CT; his brother Jody (Alicia ) Morris of Pittston, PA; his nieces and nephews Jessica, James, Jenevelyn, Jeanetta, and Monica of Waterbury, CT; Jackie, Jasmine, Jenna, Joshua, Jayla, and Alahna of Pittston, PA; his aunts and uncles, Albert (Maryann) Blanchard of Wolcott, CT; Winifred (Larry) Blanchard-Ward, Freddie Morris and Frank Edmonds of Waterbury, CT; Elizabeth Manning and Pastor James Manning of Harlem, NY; and his great Aunt, Reverend Dr. Pauline Ballard of East Orange, NJ.
