Beulah Velma Pavey, 85, of Collinsville, OK, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2009 in Tucson, AZ. She was born January 24, 1924 in Wann, OK to Lester Hines and the former Stella King. She married Marvin Russell Pavey on December 23, 1949. They were married for 57 years until his death in 2007. Beulah spent her time raising her family and taking care of their home. Her family and friends will miss her greatly.

Beulah is survived by her 2 children, Marlethea Burcham of Denver, CO, and Malcom Randall Pavey of Tucson, AZ; 1 brother, Albert Hines; 1 Granddaughter, Kitzie Vander Kooi and her husband Tim of Collinsville; 21 nieces and nephews; numerous family and friends. Beulah was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Marvin, her grandson, Joshua Wilson, 1 sister, Hazel Nicolas, and 3 brothers, Chet, Howard, and Evertt Hines.

Marlethea and Malcom would like to give special acknowledgement to Terry and Susee McClure, owners of Connie’s Manor Home in Tucson, AZ for the love and care they gave their Mom during her stay. “Because of them our Mom thrived, felt safe and comfortable knowing she was not only closer to her children, but loved and cared for by our extended family. We cannot express how much we love and appreciate them. We will always be grateful. They are and continue to be a great blessing in their ministry of providing assisted living.”

Also, they would like to thank the “Collinsville First Assembly of God (where our parents attended for almost 60 years), Pastor Bradley, and our church family for allowing the use of their facilities and providing our family dinner. While we no longer live here we will never forget the lessons we were taught by our church family.”

In honor of Beulah being a breast cancer survivor, memorials can be made to in lieu of flowers.

Visitation for Beulah will be held Friday, September 25, 2009 at Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 26, 2009 at the Collinsville First Assembly of God with Ed Richards officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville. Under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home,
