Landers William Robinson, Sr. age 64 passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2012. Services will be held at 2PM Friday at the chapel of Moores Funeral Home with burial to follow at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Robinson was a native of Sandersville but had made his home in Baldwin County for many years. He was a retired employee of Rheem Manufacturing Company and was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the United States Marines. He was preceded in death by his parents Herbert L. and Stella Cummings Robinson; siblings, Edith R. Ashley, David L. Robinson, Sr., and Dianne R. Rivers.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years Linda J. Robinson, children, Landers William Robinson, Jr. (Tonya) and Clay Walker, his brother Robby Robinson (Patricia), his sister Brenda Etheridge (Lamar), two grandchildren, Landers William Robinson, III, (Christa Blizzard), Samantha Jones, two great-grandchildren Jordyn Jones, Jadyn Page all of Milledgeville, and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 6PM until 8PM at Moores Funeral Home.
