Richard Henry Sperry, Jr., 81, of Hermann, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at Frene Valley Health Center.

Mr. Sperry was born in Gasconade, Missouri on July 2, 1931, the son of the late Richard H. and Frieda (Lautenschaeger) Sperry.

He was the husband of Betty Ann (Korman) Sperry. They were married June 30, 1962 at Starkenburg, MO. She survives in Hermann.

Richard is also survived by a daughter Jeanette Lyman & husband Michael of Yuba City, California, daughter Christine Sperry of St. Petersberg, Missouri, son Keith Sperry of Owensville, Missouri, daughter Dana Sperry of Hermann, son Kevin Sperry of Hermann, a sister Dorothy Horstmann of Hermann and six grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, a son Steven Sperry and three brothers Bill, George & LeRoy Sperry.

He was a farmer.

Visitation will be Thursday 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, Missouri.

Funeral Services will be held at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, Missouri at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 10th, with Pastor Darrel Deeker officiating.

Burial will be at Oak Haven Memorial Gardens, Hermann, Missouri.
