Mr. Charles Roscoe Moore, age 77 of Ruston, Louisiana, passed away Monday, April 9, 2012 at the Princeston Place Nursing Home of Ruston.

Born, October 27, 1934, in Tannehill, Louisiana, he was a retired owner operator of the Montgomery Citgo Station and was a retired School Bus Driver with the Grant Parish Schools.

Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his parents Florence Dean Moore and Fred Moore, brother Harry C. Moore, and wife Eula Mae Lestage Moore.

Survivors include his son Charles "Randy" Skains and wife Vivian and daughter Kimberly Dooley and husband Ricky all of Ruston, nine grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday April 11, 2012 in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel with Reverends Jesse Henderson and Rayford Higgs officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Maurice Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family in the funeral home on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., and on Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.

Pallbearers will be Clarence Stapleton, Charles Lunsford, Walter Bray, Jason Lestage, Mike Barnett, Cecil Lewis, and David Bray.
