Please accept my deepest sympathies. The Jenkins family was a part of my growing up at Brown Deer Baptist Church in Wisconsin. I remember the deacon's gatherings at my grandparents home and all the fun that their group would have together. Mr. Jenkins was a leader in a truly loving, generous church family. His kindness will remain in my memory. I send my love and condolences to the whole Jenkins family. You'll be in my prayers.

Bernie helped bring me east from Oregon in 1986. I served as the Personnel Officer for the Monongahela National Forest under his Regional leadership. He touched many lives and will be remembered fondly.

To Aunt Cathie and all my cousins,
What a blessing Uncle Bernie was to our entire family. I will remember and cherish our summer visits and his "say it like it is" character always! He was the rock that held my mom up just as he was to all of you. I will miss him greatly and keep all of you in my prayers. If there is one man I know without a doubt is in heaven, it's Uncle Bernie. I know he is with Grandma Bess and enjoying every second of heaven. Love you all!

Our friendship with Bernie goes back several years. He was a wonderful friend,classmate and excellent basketball player for Eldon Mustang in the Early 1950. Blessings to the whole family.
