charles stokes dallas, tx June 14, 2012 11:52 PM		Hi Joan and family. I read the Star Herald online and just read about John's death. He was a classmate of mine in Kosciusko and at Holmes. We hunted together when in high school a few times. We sang together in a quartet a few times. John was a fine man and I appreciated knowing him and having him for a friend. It is very hard to let go of our parents, but it is a blessing to know that they are no longer hurting, no longer tired, or scared. He is singing with the saints today. Little comfort now, but it will be in the future days. May God give you and your family comfort during this time.
