Joan Marie (Wiltse-Marshall) Davis, 71, of Colorado Springs, Colorado passed away on September 7, 2010 at her home. She was born on April 27th, 1939 in DeKalb, Illinois the daughter of T.Harold and Lucille (Pyper) Marshall. Joan married Al Wiltse in June 1957.

Joan was a graduate of DeKalb High School Class of 1957. She worked at St. Mary’s Hospital and the DeKalb Public Hospital both in DeKalb. Joan later moved to Colorado Springs and worked at Penrose Hospital. She was an avid Cubs and Bronco’s fan and enjoyed creating floral arrangements and spending time with her family and friends.

Joan is survived by her five children, Michael Wiltse of Taunton, Mass., Dawn (Art) Kern of Bemidji, Minn., James (Kathy) Wiltse of Las Vegas, Nev., Daniel (Jennifer) Wiltse of Bemidji, Minn. and Timothy (Bev) Wiltse of Crookston, Minn; 13 grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; brother, Richard (Carole) Marshall of Kingman, Ariz; four sisters, Carole Malone, Myrna (Lloyd) Egerman, Terry Marshall-Ruby all of Sycamore, Ill. and Janice (Benny) Burns, Mesa, Ariz.; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; nephew, Chad Egerman; two brothers-in-law, Lester Malone and John Ruby; and sister-in-law, Gwen Marshall.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at the Anderson Funeral Home in DeKalb, Ill. with Father Kenneth Anderson of St. Mary Parish in DeKalb officiating. Private interment will take place at St. Mary Cemetery in DeKalb.
