Marguerite June Adams, 86 of Hamilton died Saturday, September 4, 2010 at her home.
Memorial services for Mrs. Adams will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, September 11, 2010 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Pine Mountain Valley. Mrs. Adams was born March 18, 1924 in Indio, CA the daughter of Marguerite June Dittus Perkins and George Hobort Perkins. Mrs. Adams was the military spouse of Army Ret. Master Sgt Willis D. Adams. She was also a skilled and experienced seamstress working as a civilian she made sure that uniforms met US Army standards. While traveling the world with her husband she also served as a Rosie the Riveter for many years while still taking care of and raising her family. Mrs. Adams was always giving of her time and her unconditional love to all those she knew. Mrs. Adams in her spare time was also an avid bowler for many years and was a member of the Peach Bowl Lanes Thursday senior bowling league. Mrs Adams was a faithful Braves fan and made sure never to miss watching a game and cheering on her team to the Championships. Mrs Adams was also a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Pine Mountain Valley.
Mrs Adams was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Ret. Master Sgt. Willis D. Adams. She is survived by her two daughters Linda Marie Anderson of Hamilton and Marguerite June Parsons of Pine Mountain; six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. “GO BRAVES!”
