Edmond Clarence “Ed” Ball, age 84, of Texarkana, Arkansas, died Wednesday, May 5, 2010 in a local nursing center.
Mr. Ball was born July 2, 1925 at Little Rock, Arkansas. He was a retired electrician for Wadley Regional Medical Center and was a U.S. Army Veteran having served during the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife Helen “Peggy” Ball of Texarkana, Arkansas; two sisters, Mary Anne Hunter of Magnolia, Arkansas, Dr. Betty Ball of Winthrop, Arkansas and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Msgr. Xavier Pappu officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas.
Rosary will be recited at 7:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home chapel with visitation to follow.
