Bailey, Jacqueline “Jackie” (nee McRae), of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, formerly of House Springs, Missouri, was born December 11, 1926, in Luxora, Arkansas, to Harry and Rozzi Belle (nee Leasure) McRae, and entered into rest, Monday, March 29, 2010, at The Manor, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, at the age of 83 years, 3 months and 18 days.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles “Chuck” Bailey, (married December, 1962), one (1) son, Mack Baker, one (1) grandchild, Mack Baker, Jr., and six (6) siblings, Stanley McRae, James McRae, Otis McRae, Katie Clifton, Ana Belle Clifton, and Myrtle Sigler.
She is survived by three (3) children, James O. Baker, of Jefferson City, Missouri, Danny J. (Pat) Baker, of Florida, and Candace (Jack) McKee, of Qulin, Missouri, eight (8) grandchildren, Jimmy Baker, Antoinette Cook, Tracy Pica, Bridget Anderson, Candace Booth, Peter Noroian, Chad Baker, and Danny Baker, fifteen (15) great-grandchildren, one (1) sister, Vivian (Cecil) Meadows, of Brighton, Illinois, and many other relatives and friends.
Jackie worked at Singer Sewing until 1974 and then was a homemaker. She taught IBM keypunch and loved singing in her church choir. Jackie used to enjoy riding Harley Davidson motorcycles. She is fondly remembered and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
