He attended Washington Elementary, Robinson Jr. High and Scott High School. Percy loved music and was a very good Keyboard Player. He loved sports and played quarterback for Robinson Junior High and Scott High School. He worked in maintenance for Taylor Buick for two years. He was preceded in death by his father Roosevelt Love. He leaves to cherish his memories, his son, Andre Thompson, mother, Sherry Love, step-fathers, Willie Sanders and Robert McClain, brothers, Richard (Tamara) Lyons, and Anthony Love, sisters, Angela and Regina Love, nieces, Shantoya Lyons and Tiyon Nettles and one grandson, Jayden Thompson.
