Mary was born on November 23, 1947 in Sidney, Mt. the daughter of Carl and Martha (Erpenbach) Anderson. She has been an area resident for 30 years, she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from Missouri Southern State University and a Master’s Degree from Missouri State University. Mary worked as an IT Director for several years at Class LTD. in Kansas before retiring in 2007. She volunteered for the 4-State Search & Rescue Team; she attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Joplin.
She married Doug Wagner in 1966 in Sidney, Mt., Doug preceded her in death in 1971, Mary re-married in 1974 to Charles Davis in Fallbrook, Ca., Charles preceded her in death in 2005. Mary is survived by one daughter, Liz Wagner of San Jose, Ca.; two sons Tom Davis of Lanexa, Ks., and Charles Davis who is serving overseas in the US Military, one grandson, Gabriel Davis of Carl Junction, Mo., and by her chocolate lab, Oliver. She was also preceded in death by one son David Wagner in 1983.
A funeral mass has been scheduled for Thursday November 5th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Father Justin Monaghan will officiate. A rosary service will be held on Wednesday evening November 4th at the funeral home beginning at 7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made honor of Mary to the 4-State Search & Rescue Team, in care of Mason-Woodard.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Chapel.
