Heitkamp, Donna M., Saginaw, Michigan. Loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away Saturday, October 31, 2009 at Covenant HealthCare Cooper Campus. Age 79 years. Daughter of the late Dr. Victor L. Hill Sr. and Marie C. (Marcotte) Hill, Donna was born November 7, 1929 in Saginaw, Michigan. She graduated from Saginaw High School in 1947. Donna was married to Jim B. Heitkamp on March 24, 1956. He survives her. She retired from Yeo and Yeo in 1994. Donna was a member of Ames United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening, visiting LasVegas, knitting, crocheting, bowling, puzzles and especially her family. Surviving besides her husband Jim are two daughters, one son and their spouses, Vickie and Robert Schroeder, San Antonio, Texas; Ellen and Dave Mook, Bay City; Jim Heitkamp II, Southgate, Michigan; 9 grandchildren, Cris, Eric, Donald, Erik, Christopher, Ezra, Jedidiah, Shelby and Kasey; one brother, Dr. Victor L. Hill II and his wife Mary, Saginaw; one brother-in-law and one sister-in-law, Joseph L. (Bev) Heitkamp Jr. and Mary Jane Heitkamp; several nieces and nephews. Donna was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Jane Scott and her brother, Robert Hill. Funeral Service will take place 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. (Between Shattuck and McCarty). Pastor Mark Karls will officiate with burial in Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home where the family will be present on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
