Rojean Lou "Jeanie" Churchill, 55, died October 30, 2009 at her Woodward, Oklahoma, residence. She was born June 24, 1954 at Pratt, Kansas, the daughter of Donald and Peggy (Oller) Hoeme. She married James L. Churchill July 22, 1972 at Great Bend, Kansas. She was the Business Office Administrator at Central Kansas Medical Center, Great Bend; Borger Hospital, Borger, Texas; and most recently, Woodward Regional Hospital, Woodward, Oklahoma. She was a Woodward resident for seven years, coming from Borger and Great Bend.

She enjoyed family, her work, and learning. Mrs. Churchill also enjoyed arts and crafts, collecting pig statues, science fiction novels, punch, and quilting, (winning several awards) oil painting, waterskiing, camping, fishing, and life!

Survivors include her husband, James Churchill, of the home; mother, Peggy Hoeme, Great Bend, Kansas; one son, Lawrence Churchill and wife Angela, Mooreland, Oklahoma; one step-son, Todd Churchill and wife Michelle, Hays, Kansas; two daughters: Amanda Fox, St. John, Kansas; and Miranda Lockely, Sedgwick, Kansas; two sisters: Ronelle DeLaurentis and Rhonda Gabel, both of Great Bend, Kansas; five grandchildren: Kimberly Barrett, Mystacia Churchill, Tymorilyn Churchill, Kyle Lockely, and Ethan Lockely; and two step-grandchildren: Kaylene Schneider and Brandon Churchill. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Hoeme; and two sisters, Roxanne Lesnet and Rochelle Ridgeway.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at Bryant Funeral Home. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Friends may call from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, November 2, 2009 and from 9:00 a.m. to service time, Tuesday, at Bryant Funeral Home. Memorials are requested to the American Cancer Society, in care of the funeral home.
