Mr. Lee Roy Ragsdale, Age 78 of Acworth, Ga., Paulding Co. passed away on Friday, October 30, 2009 at his residence. Mr. Ragsdale was born on August 20, 1931 in Cherokee Co. Ga. to the late Mr. Homer Augustus Ragsdale and the late Mrs. Ruth Elena Braswell Ragsdale. Mr. Ragsdale was married to the late Mrs. Eva E. Cantrell Ragsdale. Mr. Ragsdale was a short haul truck driver and a Veteran of the United States Army. Services will be held on Tuesday November 3, 2009 at 2:00P.M. from the Chapel of the Benson Fuenral Home with interment to follow in the Rolling Hills Cemetery in Acworth, with the following serving as Pall Bearers: Barry Whitley, Jeff Graves, Shane Graves, Will Romines, Ted Gambrell. Honorary Pall Bearers will be: Art Graves, Guy Nichols, Terrry Smith The Family will receive friends on Sunday, Nov.1, 2009 from 2:00-6:00 P.M. and on Monday, Nov. 2, 2009 from 2:00-8:00 P.M.
