She was born in Akron and spent most of her life in the Montrose-Copley area and was a Copley High School graduate. She was a member of Guardian Angels Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Aaron Willis Decker in 2002. A loving and caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She leaves behind her three children, Duane (Debbie) Decker, Carol (James) Schweitzer, and Judy (Tom) Joyner; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, sisters Carmella (Wally) Essig and Nancy (Maurice) Hohman and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4-7 PM at the Hummel Funeral Home, 3475 Copley Rd, Copley. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at Guardian Angels Church.
