Patricia “Diana” Franklin Carpenter, of Maryville, passed away peacefully at home, Friday, October 30, 2009. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Roy E. “Bo” Franklin; mother, Dorothy Dailey; father, Pink Woods; and brother, Buddy Woods. She is survived by her husband, Tommy A. Carpenter; daughters and sons-in-law, Kim and Chris Holloway, and Melissa and Mark Johnson; sister and brother-in-law, Tuesday and Bennie Huskey; sister-in-law Ruth Johnson; grandchildren, Brad and Logan Holloway and Chad Johnson; step-daughters, Jennifer and Kevin Goodson and Sharon and Dallas Stephens; step-son, Jeff Carpenter; step-grandchildren, Aaron and Carrie Goodson and Erica Stephens; niece, Lori Watson; nephew Darrell Husky and several other nieces and nephews. Special aunt Kate Chambers. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, November 1, 2009 at Miller Funeral Home, Cedar Chapel, with Rev. Arkie Baker officiating.
