C. G. Walker (January 18, 1931 - October 29, 2009) Guest Book | Sign Guest Book Mr. C. G. Walker, 78, of Trumann, died Thursday, October 29, 2009 at his home in Trumann. Mr. Walker was born January 18, 1931 in Marked Tree and had lived in Trumann for 59 years. He was a painting contractor, owner and operator of Walkers Dairy Bar in Trumann and was a member of Revival Center Pentecostal Church in Trumann. Mr. Walker was preceded in death by his wife, Merle Francis Jones Walker, his parents, two sisters, and five brothers. Survivors include one daughter, Paulette Fletcher of Trumann; one sister, Doris Walker of Trumann; two grandsons, Mark Allred and Tim Fletcher; one great-grandson, Eric Fletcher, one niece and three nephews. Funeral services will be Monday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Trumann with Rev. Russell Hamm officiating. Burial will follow in the Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro, Ark. Pallbearers will be Bill Wilson, Theo Austin, Lee Watson, Junior Adams, Dennis Penter, and Bobby Manes.
