Dolly Reynolds 73, of New Lisbon died on Thursday Oct. 29, 2009 at the Fair View Nursing Home in Mauston, WI. She was the daughter of Joe and Alice (Yund) Lutz and was born March 29, 1936 in New Lisbon. She was raised in the New Lisbon area. Dolly was united in marriage to La Vern Reynolds on March 26, 1957. Dolly worked at Reva’s Café for many years, and later was employed by Leer Manufacturing for 12 years. Dolly enjoyed arts and crafts and making things for the yard, or for window decorations, and also doing sewing and knitting. She loved to go to garage sales. Mostly she loved her grandchildren and family. She and her husband also lived in Anchorage, Alaska for several years and Duluth, Minnesota for a couple of years, the remainder of their life was spent in New Lisbon or on the farm just outside of New Lisbon. Dolly is survived by 2 sons, Rick (Wendy) Reynolds of Kendall, WI, and Roy Reynolds of New Lisbon, WI, a stepson Bobby (Terri) Reynolds of Golden, CO, two sisters, Ella Anderson of New Lisbon, and Shirley Cavanaugh of Canada, and a brother Ted Lutz of New Lisbon. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband LaVern in 2002, a stepson Bill Reynolds, a sister Dora Lutz, and brothers Joe and Bob Lutz.
Funeral services will be held at the Hare Funeral Home on Saturday Oct. 31, 2009 at 1:00pm with Rev. Jeff Fairchild presiding. Relatives and friends may call at the Hare Funeral Home on Saturday from 11:00am till the 1:00pm time of service. Private family inurnment will take place at a later date.
