Deloris Virginia “Ginny” Wilson, 83, of Keokuk, IA, died Thursday, October 29, 2009 at Lexington Square in Keokuk, IA.

She was born on July 7, 1926 in Hamilton, IL, the daughter of Henry S. and Evelyn K. Roberts Webster. On January 25, 1947, Virginia was united in marriage to Harold Elmer “Whitie” Wilson in Kahoka, MO. He preceded her in death on March 6, 1998.

Virginia graduated from Hamilton High School with the Class of 1944.

She had been employed at Huiskamp Shoe factory in Keokuk and Schilson’s Hairgoods in Hamilton, IL

She was a member of the Keokuk Yacht Club, the Southside Boat Club, the VFW Auxiliary and the Eagles Auxiliary.

Ginny was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and her family was the joy of her life.

She is survived by one son, Brad Wilson and his wife Patti of Keokuk, one daughter, Lynn Moldrup and her husband Weldon of Edgerton, KS, two grandchildren, Brad Moldrup and Meghan Robinson, two step-grandchildren, Tina Meek and Terra Russell and nine great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, her step-parents and an infant sister.

Private family graveside services were held at the Keokuk National Cemetery.
