DOTSON Sherrie Lynn Sherrie Lynn Dotson, 66, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, October 22, 2009, at the University of Toledo Medical Center. She was born September 12, 1943 to the late James Virgil and Marian Dotson. Sherrie retired from the state of Ohio as a Deputy Sheriff with the Lucas County Sheriff's Dept. Sherrie was predeceased by parents, Virgil and Marian Dotson; brother, Michael; sister, Anita and nephew, George Harold, Jr. She lovingly leaves to cherish her memory, sons, Timothy (Deonna) Dotson and Christopher (Char) Dotson; grandchildren, Chrishan, Chelby, Cymone Sherrie Lynn and Camaira Dotson; sisters, Sheila (Stephen) Googins, Sandra (Oscar) Temple, Emily Dotson, Monica (George) Everett and Karen Vasser; brothers, Rev. Gerald (Maple) Dotson, James (Trina) Dotson, Jr., William (Valerie) Dotson, Keith Dotson, all of Toledo, Rev. Robbie (Carol) Dotson and Averill (Lisa) Dotson of Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the physicians and nurses of the University of Toledo Medical Center Intensive Care Unit for your compassion and care provided to our loved one. The family will receive visitors on Friday, October 30, 2009 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at The House of Day Chapel, 2550 Nebraska Avenue, Toledo.
