Jerry F. Fienhold

Jerry F. Fienhold, 65 of Gays, IL. formerly of Pontiac died Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at his residence.

His funeral will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2009 at 2:30 PM at the First Lutheran Church, Pontiac with Rev. Dieter Punt officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, rural Pontiac. Friends may call on Sunday from 12:30-2:30 at the Church. Memorials in Jerry’s name may be left to First Lutheran Church-Pontiac or St. Jude’s Hospital. Martin-Burke Funeral Home, Pontiac is handling the arrangements.

Jerry was born on May 13, 1944 at Pontiac, a son of Charles and Dorothy (McCoy) Fienhold. He married Mary Jean Schuler on July 18, 1964 at Colfax. He later married Eunice Raube on December 14, 2001 in Pontiac. She survives-Gays, Illinois. Also surviving are 2 Sons: Steve (Tammy) Fienhold-Chenoa, IL. and Jeremy (Nicole) Fienhold-Gridley, IL. 1 Daughter: Christy Schopp-Fairbury, IL. 2 Step-Children: Steve Biehl-Branson, MO. and Pam Toliver-Sumner, IL. 5 Grandchildren: Zachary, Emily and Mitchell Fienhold and Stuart and Matthew Schopp. 4 Step Grandchildren: Andrea Collins, Sonny Toliver and Jacob and Eric Biehl. 5 Step Great Grandchildren and 1 Brother: Daniel (Nancy) Fienhold-Pontiac. Jerry was preceded in death by his Parents.

Jerry was educated in Pontiac schools and a graduate of Pontiac High School. He was a union carpenter. He later owned ad operated Fienhold Refuse in Livingston County and later was an independent truck driver.

Jerry was a member of the First Lutheran Church-Pontiac and Pontiac Sportman’s Club.
