HENCK—Mildred R. Henck, 88, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2009. Mrs. Henck, a native of Loughman, FL was a longtime resident of Jacksonville. She was a homemaker and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She and her husband, Cliff Henck were charter members of Lake Forest Baptist Church and worshiped there for over 50 years. She was predeceased by her husband in 2001 and a grandson, Gene Henck, in 2004. Mrs. Henck was a great mother and grandmother and loved by all of her family including her children, Joan (John) Francisco; Peggy (Phil) La Rocca; Brenda (John) Faircloth and Howard (Janice) Henck; a sister, Johnell Mills; 4 grandchildren, Steve, John, J. C. and Reba and 2 great-grandchildren, Jessica and Travis. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 1 at Corey – Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Ave., from 4:00 until 6:00 pm. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel, Monday, November 2 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Alvin Pollard officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
