Kupeerus, 84, of Milford passed away at Lakeland Rehabilitation and Healthcare on October 28, 2009. She was born on December 5, 1924 in Harleysville, PA to Allan and Alice (Moyer)Clemmer. She married Sjoerd Kupeerus in May of 1956. He survives. Also surviving are her son, Gerald (Vickie) Kupeerus, New Paris; two grandchildren, Chris Kupeerus and Jeremy Kupeerus both of New Paris; two great grandchildren, Lexin and Xander both of New Paris; a sister, Alice (Norm) Rittenhouse, Pennsylvania, and a brother, Marvin Clemmer also of Pennsylvania. Bettty was known to many as the "First Grade Teacher". She taught at the New Paris and Goshen Schools for a total of 39 years. She was a member of the College Mennonite Church of Goshen. Betty ejoyed crossword puzzles, reading and most of all traveling with her family, especially to Europe. She was preceded by her parents, four brothers and three sisters. Services for Betty are going to be Sunday, November 1 at 2:00 pm at the Mishler-Eastlund Funeral home in Milfrod. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Print Obituary
