Mother of Philip James Britton, Robin Clark Britton, Jay Tyrone Britton, and Lauretta Leigh Britton. Daughter of Viola Emma (nee Bartels) and James Clark Davis. Grandmother of 7, including Evelyn Stecher, who was her caregiver for many years, great grandmother of 17, great-great grandmother of 3. Viola was born and raised in Audubon and later a resident of Pitman for over 50 years before moving to Berlin and most recently Williamstown. She graduated from Audubon High School, and modeled for Sears as a teenager. She was fond of music, dancing, crossword puzzles, arts and crafts, bus trips and traveling. She was the president of the Golden Age Club and also a member of the Democrat Club in Pitman and watched the polls every election. She enjoyed taking her grandchildren to John Wanamaker’s at Christmas. Interment is private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the care of Barclay Funeral Home.
