Humphrey Funeral Service: Obituaries

Cupedean "Tobie" Mills, 83, of Russellville, went to be with the Lord, Monday, October 26, 2009 at Stella Manor Nursing Center in Russellville. Tobie was born September 8, 1926 in Panama City, Florida to James and Edna (Donaldson) Parish. She graduated from Bay County High School, Florida. In 1944, she met and married Paul Edwin Mills and moved to Albion, Michigan, where they raised their family. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Albion, and worked for Garrison’s Drug Store. Tobie was a member of the Albion Garden Club and belonged to the Needle Point Group. She was a beautiful seamstress and loved sewing. In 1987, the Mills’ moved to Russellville. She was a member of the Bible Baptist Church of Russellville.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Paul Mills; an infant son, Glen Alan Mills; her parents; three brothers, James E Parish, Carey Parish and James W. Parrish.

She is survived by two daughters, Sandi Moore & husband Bobby of Russellville, Susan Lyn Mills of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; one son, Jim Mills & wife Debbie of Mobile, AL; six grandchildren, Tami Teer & husband Scott of Dover, Jason Zabetakis & wife Adrianna of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Rachel Hawkins & husband Carl of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Sara Pate & husband Joe of Mobile, AL, Lauren Treubig of Mobile, AL, Suzanne Camille Henry of Charlotte, NC; 11 great grandchildren, Evan, Ryan & Megan Teer of Dover, Tyjah & Tamen Zabetakis & Daejah & Raequan Hawkins of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Carley & Olivia Treubig & Charles & James Pate of Mobile, AL.

Funeral service will be at 10:00AM, Friday, October 30, 2009 at Humphrey Chapel with Pastor Ron Kauffman officiating.

Visitation will be from 5:00- 7:00 pm, on Thursday, at the funeral home. There will be a private burial at McFadden Cemetery. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Mills, Bobby J. Moore, Scott Teer, Evan Teer & Ryan Teer.
