Russell Leroy “Butch” Masterson, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2009 in Pontiac, Illinois at the age of 64. He was born on April 30, 1945 in Quincy, IL a son of Joseph and Helen (Hively) Masterson. He is survived by two daughters: Billie (Paul) Heidecker of Hannibal, MO and Delores Barajas of Hannibal, MO, five grandchildren: James Maxey, PFC Baggs Timothy J., Amanda Barajas, Shyann Heidecker and Paul Heidecker III, his loving life partner: Rita McColez of Quincy, IL and one nephew: Jesi James. He was preceded in death by his mother: Helen Van Diver, his father: Joseph Masterson, two sisters: Delores (Leonard) Webster and Donna Masterson and one brother: Kenny Masterson.
Russell loved the outdoors and riding his motorcycle. His family and friends meant everything to him.
