Britney had a deep personal concern and love for children and elderly people. She was able to work briefly in a nursing home, Bright Beginnings, and at Wellspring Methodist Pre-school. Britney was a member of Georgetown Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Freda Hudson and her maternal grandfather, Bobby Blackwood.
Britney leaves behind to cherish her memory her parents, Paul and Mitzi Hudson; her brother, Cole Hudson; her Ant, Lynn Hudson; nieces, Madison and Olivia Star Hudson; grandfather, Charles Hudson; and special Ant, Melissa Moir. Britney is also survived by her maternal grandparents, Preston and Naida Barker; great grandmother, Dorothy Blackwood; her uncle, Ben Barker; aunt, Shay Wade; her longtime special friend, Daniel Dean and her beloved pet cat, Birdie; along with numerous other loving family members and friends.
Britney was taken from us by surprise and will be greatly missed by all her family and friends who knew her.
Services celebrating Britney’s life will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at 4:00PM at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel, 393 North IH 35, Georgetown, Texas. Interment will follow at IOOF Cemetery in Georgetown.
