The daughter of John and Winnie Truett Leavell, she was born March 2, 1929 in Russellville. She was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was a bookkeeper and elected Pope County Clerk in 1958. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Driver; daughter, Donna Driver; one grandson, Justin Hale; five sisters, Reba Ashmore, Moffatte Lay, Belva Payne, Pauline Trimm, and Ina Delle Doran; three brothers, John Ed Leavell, Truett Leavell, and Brown Leavell; her parents, John and Winnie Leavell. She is survived by a granddaughter, Rachel Beth Hale; and one brother, Edsel Leavell. Graveside service will be at 10:00AM, Thursday, October 29, 2009 at McFadden Cemetery. Burial will be under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service. Memorials may be made to ALS, 27001 Agoura Road, Suite 150, Calabasas Hills, California 91301.
