Loren was in sales with Formax Inc., a manufacturer of processing equipment in the food industry. He was a licensed hot air balloon pilot. He enjoyed photography.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Joyce, nee Medo; his father, Loren K. Hutchinson; and two sisters, Lynnis Gendron, and Beth (Dan) Steinke; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Marjorie Von Tobel Hutchinson.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28, from 3 to 9 P.M. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton. Services and interment are private.
