Judith Ann Lancaster, 83, of Holiday Island, Arkansas died October 26, 2009 at Eureka Springs Hospital in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. She was born August 10, 1926 at Conway, Arkansas the daughter of Balfour Gordon and Frances Ophelia Mabry Harton. She was a member of the Holiday Island Community Church and was co-owner of a manufacturing business with her husband where she served as secretary. She loved her Tuesday and Thursday Bridge Groups and bridge friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dick Lancaster to whom she was married on October 12, 1942 and proceded her on March 13, 2000, one sister, Flarrie Harton and one daughter-in-law, Patti Lancaster on August 23, 2009. Survivors include: two sons and one daughter-in-law, Rick and Kit Lancaster of Des Moines, Iowa and Balfour Lancaster of Rochester Hills, Michigan; one daughter and son-in-law, Fran and Tom Carlin of Eureka Springs, Arkansas; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and numerous well loved friends and family across the country.Services will be held at 2:00 P. M. Friday, October 30th at the Holiday Island Community Church with Pastor Allen Thrasher officiating. Cremation by Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville.
