She was born June 17, 1918 at Fairview, Oklahoma the daughter of J. P. and Vinnie May Blair Eberley. She was a member of the Huntsville Missionary Baptist Church and a former member of the Kings River Riding Club. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Jesse Loran Hughes and Coy Kenneth Smith, her parents, two brothers, Phillip Eberley and Clifford Eberley and two sisters, Emma Topp and Hazel Gandy. Survivors include: two sons and daughters-law, Dorsie and Nevelta Smith of Marble, Arkansas and James and Edie Smith of Hindsville, Arkansas; five daughters and sons-in-law, Loretta and Milt Price, Renee and Gary Ditmore and Lois and Doyle Horine all of Huntsville, Arkansas, Janet and Dean Stanphill of Eagle Rock, Missouri, and Sharon and Mike Dennis of Marble, Arkansas; two sisters-in-law, Betty Eberley of Sand Springs, Idaho and Ruth Eberley of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; thirty-seven grandchildren, forty-one great-grandchildren and fifteen great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P. M. Wednesday, October 28th at the Lower Campground Cemetery with Reverends Harvey "Bud" Pulley and Eldon Bagwell officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P. M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Print Obituary
