Jim will forever be remembered by his nephews, Steven (Lynnette) Thoma, Darrell (Judy) Thoma, Steven Rhyner; his nieces, Catherine (Jamie) Zahalka, Stefanie Lorbiecki, Kristine Lorbiecki, Anne (Jeff) Gruett, Natalie Neals, Nikki Neals; sisters-in-law, Teri (Rick) Neals and Audrey Rhyner; cousins Loretta (Sid) Miller and Lorraine (Dick) Eiden.  He is further survived by Aunt Ruth and many special great nieces and nephews.  Jim was preceded in death by his wife and parents.

In accordance with Jim’s wishes, no formal funeral service will be held.  Following cremation, his cremains will be joined with his wife’s and scattered over AuTrain Bay of Lake Superior to drift amidst the beauty of the area.  Expressions of sympathy may be made in Jim’s memory to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 1332 N.
